Frequently asked questions

Can iPhone convert PDF to JPG without an app?

Not natively. Stock iOS has no PDF-to-JPG renderer in Files, Photos, or Shortcuts. The only no-install path is a browser-based converter like PDF to JPG running in Safari.

Will the JPEGs include the iPhone status bar?

Only if you screenshot pages from the Files preview. PDFWix renders the PDF page directly to JPEG, so there is no status bar, no home indicator, no UI chrome — just the page content.

Are my PDFs uploaded when I use PDFWix on iPhone?

No. Rendering runs entirely in Safari via WebAssembly. The PDF and the JPEGs stay on your iPhone. You can verify by enabling Airplane Mode after picking the file — conversion still completes.
