Frequently asked questions

Can macOS Preview combine JPGs into one PDF?

Yes — select the JPGs in Finder, right-click → Open With → Preview (they open in one window), drag thumbnails to reorder, then File → Export as PDF. Works on every macOS version since at least 10.7.

Why is my Preview-exported PDF page size strange?

Preview sets each page to the image's pixel dimensions at 72 DPI. A 4000×3000 phone photo becomes a 55-inch by 41-inch page. Use Print → PDF → Save as PDF for A4/Letter, or JPG to PDF for explicit page-size control.

Are my photos uploaded with PDFWix on Mac?

No. The conversion runs in your browser via WebAssembly. Photos stay on the Mac. Verify by enabling Airplane Mode after selecting files — conversion still completes.
