A simple step-by-step guide to convert jpg to pdf on iPhone using PDFWix's free online tools.

How to Convert JPG to PDF on iPhone

Convert JPG photos to PDF on iPhone using the Files app share-sheet or PDFWix in Safari for ordered multi-photo PDFs. Free, no app install, no signup.

How it works

  1. Save the JPG to Files — If the image is in Photos, share it to Files first (Share > Save to Files).
  2. Long-press the image — In the Files app, long-press the JPG to bring up the action menu.
  3. Open Quick Actions — Tap Quick Actions in the long-press menu.
  4. Create PDF — Tap Create PDF — iOS creates the PDF in the same folder instantly.
  5. For multiple images on iOS 16+ — Multi-select your JPGs in Files, long-press, Quick Actions > Create PDF — produces one multi-page PDF in file-name order.

Frequently asked questions

Does iPhone really convert images to PDF natively?

Yes. The Files app has a 'Create PDF' Quick Action (long-press an image > Quick Actions > Create PDF) that's been built in since iOS 15. On iOS 16+ it works on multi-select for a single multi-page PDF. The Photos app's Share > Print > pinch-to-zoom trick also produces a PDF.

How do I combine multiple JPGs into one PDF on iPhone with the order I want?

Native Files Quick Action orders by file name. For drag-to-reorder before export, use JPG to PDF — multi-select your photos, drag the thumbnails, then convert.

Does the Files Create PDF Quick Action work on iOS 18?

Yes. Quick Actions for images (Create PDF, Markup, Convert Image) work on iOS 15, 16, 17, and 18. The menu layout shifted slightly in iOS 17 but Create PDF is in the same place.
