Frequently asked questions

Can ChromeOS combine multiple JPGs into one PDF?

Only via Google Docs (Insert → Image → Download as PDF) — and the output inherits Doc page margins. For clean multi-image PDFs with order and margin control, use JPG to PDF in Chrome.

Do I need a Chrome extension?

No. PDFWix is a regular web page. Pin it to the shelf via Chrome's menu → Install pdfwix.com (Chrome adds a desktop-app-style shortcut).

Is it safe on a school-managed Chromebook?

Yes — no extension or app to install. Files don't leave the device. If your administrator blocks pdfwix.com specifically, ask IT to whitelist; the site doesn't upload files, only downloads the converted PDF locally.
